The purpose of the Advisory Board is to offer strategic feedback to the senior pastors at One Church @ Bethel’s Family and One Church @ Harvest Point. Members of the board provide guidance and participate in task forces to advance the mission of One Church without being involved in its day-to-day operations.
Brandon & LaToya Bolden
Brandon and LaToya Bolden have been members of The Church at Bethel’s Family since October 2019. They have been happily married for 4 years and believe kingdom marriage is a blessing and gift from God. They serve together as 9th-grade Home Group Leaders in Bethel’s Youth Ministry. In addition, they enjoy participating in the Marriage Ministry. Brandon is also active in the Deacon’s Ministry, Men’s Ministry, and Men’s Choir. LaToya enjoys attending events hosted by the Women’s WOW Ministry. Brandon is an Account Manager in Sales and LaToya is a 7th-Grade Math Teacher. Serving on the One Church’s Advisory Board is a privilege and honor as we strive and thrive as one body and one church.
Clark & Priscilla Booker
Deacon Clark Booker has been involved in church leadership since 1995, holding various positions including Church Administrator and Men’s Ministry Director. He has a passion for mentoring men and has successfully taught classes as small as one person and as large as 500. He currently serves as Leadership Training Director and Facilities Director at One Church at Bethel’s Family. He is married to Priscilla Booker, who is the Women’s Ministry Director and a graduate of the College of Biblical Studies. Priscilla is known for inspiring, encouraging, and empowering women in Houston, Texas.
Gevenia Bradford
Gevenia Bradford founded Bradford Etiquette and Protocol to promote civility through contemporary etiquette and protocol training. With over 30 years of experience in corporate management and quality improvement, Gevenia offers customized training for individuals and organizations. She is a certified Corporate Etiquette and Protocol Consultant and holds degrees in Computer Information Systems and an MBA. Gevenia is also an active member of her church and believes in serving others.
Pastor Otis & Katherine Carey
Otis Carey and Katherine Carey are a dedicated couple from Houston, Texas. Otis is a Mission Pastor and retired Police Sergeant with over 26 years of experience as a Deacon and in the United States Army. Katherine is the President of Bethel’s Global Reach, Inc., a 501(c)3 missions organization, and has been a missionary for 13 years. They have three children and six grandchildren, and their goal is to make a positive difference in the lives of those they serve.
Scottie & Joni Clark
Scottie and Joni Clark have been married for 17 years and have three children: Dillan, Ethan, and Arden. They are originally from LeCompte, Louisiana, and now reside in Richmond, TX. Scottie and Joni have been members of Harvest Point since its inception and were a part of the church’s launch team. They
have served and taught in the Men’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry, Student Ministry, and Children’s Ministry. Joni works full-time as an Geologist for BP and Scottie is part of the staff of One Church at Harvest Point. Scottie and Joni’s passions include spreading God’s Word and serving others.
Micheal G. Davis
Michael G. Davis, also known as @CeoCoachMike, is a board-certified Master Practitioner of Success Coaching, NLP, TT, EFT, and Ht. He has grown Brooks & Davis Real Estate Firm from 2 individuals to 140+ sales agents and real estate student affiliate members. With over 232 hours of training as a business and life coach, he has helped his clients achieve 214% increases in the number of transactions and massive increases in their sales production. Davis operates with uncompromising standards and focuses on efficiency using multiple systems and processes. He is an extreme advocate for those he serves, making running their business easier and more profitable, freeing their time, managing stress, and ensuring they are spending their money and time responsibly. Davis is an expert in coaching and shares his expertise through weekly webinars and blogs.
Tyrone & Chimere Davis
Tyrone Davis is a servant leader who serves as Children’s Pastor and Leadership Ministry facilitator. He also works as a Project Manager and is married to Chimere Davis, who serves as Ministry Administrator and Ministry Liaison for the Children’s Ministry. They both serve at One Church @ Harvest Point.
Shameka Felix
Shameka leads a team that drives sales and manages operations for over 21,000 clients. With over two decades of banking experience, she focuses on problem-solving and building relationships to improve client and employee experiences. She is passionate about mentoring and career advancement within the organization.
Scottie & Joni Clark
Brian Gordon is the founder and Co-CEO of Finish Line Tax Solutions. He began working in his mother’s janitorial service at nine years old and later started his own successful auto detailing business. After leaving the detail world, he launched a career with 24 Hour Fitness and eventually launched his own tax company. Dr. Teandra Gordon is a licensed marriage and family therapist, author, and speaker. She is the author of the book Purpose-Filled Parenting and currently works at BrainAbouts and Harvest Point Counseling. The Gordons live in Pearland, TX with their five children.
Marlin & Malika Herring
Marlin and Malika Herring are members of One Church @ Harvest Point in Pearland, Texas. They have two children and are actively involved in the Marriage Ministry. Marlin works in IT in the energy sector and enjoys sports and golf in his free time. Malika is a corporate litigation attorney and serves in various ministries at the church, including prayer and business advisory. She also enjoys bible study, book club, Tae Kwon Do lessons, and learning to play the piano.
Dr. Terrence & Eardie Houston
Dr. Terence Houston is a clinical pharmacist with over 20 years of experience. He is the owner and Chief Operating Officer of Alpha Omega Infusion Services, which provides home infusion therapies. Terence is also a Deacon and Elder at multiple churches and has served on global medical missions in Haiti and Kenya.
Dr. Eardie Houston is an international speaker, author, and successful corporate pharmaceutical industry professional. Together, Terence and Eardie own Alpha Omega Infusion Services and have authored children’s books, and created a marriage and family support platform called “Living Life with the Houstons”.
James & Mary Houston
James and Mary Holston are a devoted couple who serve in ministry together at One Church at Harvest Point under the leadership of Dr. Lawrence Scott. James retired after a 21-year career in the US Army and has 17 years of ministry experience. Mary has been actively serving in ministry for roughly 20 years and is a devoted wife and homeschooling mother of three. Together, they lead the Marriage Mentorship and Counseling Team and are passionate about serving wherever the Lord calls them.
Kory & Elan Fontenot
Kory Fontenot is the Missions Lead at the Church at Harvest Point. He loves serving others and has led trips to places like Haiti and Africa. Kory is happily married with three kids and enjoys photography in his free time. He has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry. Currently, he serves as a Senior Chaplain at Houston Methodist Hospital.
Dr. LeArtis Lister
Dr. LeArtis Lister is a chiropractor who is passionate about helping people reach their full potential. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Southern University and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College. Dr. Lister specializes in individual patient care and utilizes various chiropractic techniques. He is dedicated to improving the quality of life for his patients and is an active member of One Church.
LaMonica Love
LaMonica Love, a licensed attorney and business management consultant, excels in strategic thinking and leadership. Her practice areas include business planning, real estate, transactions, risk management, and corporate governance. She balances her work with family life, including her partner Michael and children Blake and Blaire. She has also served with several community organizations, including the Women’s Ministry and Project NEXT.
DeAndre & Pamela Massey
DeAndre and Pamela Massey were raised in single-parent homes in Houston. They learned to be grateful for what they had and to work hard. They both graduated from Sharpstown High School in 2001 and received college degrees from the University of Houston. They worked in banking and finance and medical fields to pay for their education. They have a passion for coaching people’s skills and educating communities on managing their finances. They are Young Adult leaders for One Church at Bethel’s Family, serving 18-35-year-olds with God’s word. They have been married for 18 years and have five children. They are committed to serving God and creating a legacy for their family.
Winston & Ethel McClure
Deacon Winston and Sister Ethel McClure believe in seeking God’s will in marriage. They teach according to the Bible and their own experiences. The couple has 3 grown sons and one granddaughter. They serve in various ministries and are certified in marriage counseling.
Steve & Melanie Miller
Steve and Melanie Miller have been married for 26 years and have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. They have been members of Bethel’s Family for 27 years and have served in various ministries. Steve is currently overseeing the network, phone system, and website for One Church at Bethel’s Place and Bethel’s Family Christian Academy. Melanie is currently the Children’s Choir Director and serves on the Worship team.
Rodrick & LaShawanda Moore
Rodrick and LaShawanda Moore are accomplished leaders in their respective fields. Rodrick champions simple solutions that benefit both humanity and the environment, while LaShawanda excels in strategic planning and change management. Together, they are a powerful couple supporting each other’s careers while also balancing their roles as parents to four children. LaShawanda is also a National Speaker, Author, and founder of several successful businesses, including Elevate Success™M and Live Out Loud Nonprofit. She is dedicated to helping others realize their potential and transforming lives, one person at a time.
Donald & Diana Rucker
Donald Rucker married to Diana for 34 years with 2 children. We are members of Bethels Family Church since 2006. Donald serves as a deacon and sings with the Mighty Men of Bethel. Diana serves with the Women’s Ministry and mentors with My Sister’s Keeper. The Ruckers are thankful to be part of a God-led church that glorifies Him in every way.
Dwayne Saunders
Dwayne Saunders works in the Pastoral Care and Baptism ministries at One Church @ Harvest Point. He has supported NASA’s Human Space Flight communications for 30+ years and advocates for diversity in the workplace. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and attending sporting events, theater, and listening to music.
Hasting Stewart
Hasting Stewart and his wife Jackie are proud members of the Harvest Point family since 2016. Together they have three children, Hasting III, Payton, and Jordyn. Hasting graduated from the University of Memphis and is presently the Head of Media and External Relations for the Norwegian energy company, Equinor. Hasting has always been called to serve in an advisory role, regardless of the environment or situation. During his leisure, he enjoys reading, watching sports, and spending quality time with his family.
Pastor Terry and Johnelle Stroud
Terry Stroud received a degree in Chemical Engineering, while Johnelle earned a Finance degree and an MBA. They became members of Bethel’s Family in 2006 and have participated in various ministries such as Youth, Children’s, Singles, and Discipleship. Previously, they served at New Hope MBC, where Terry was an interim pastor and involved in ministries such as Youth, Young Adult, Greeters, and Praise Dance. They also worked as expatriates for three years, leading the Angola International Christian Church in Angola, Africa. Currently, Terry instructs classes on New Member Orientation and Spiritual Gifts. Terry and Johnelle have been married for 19 years and are proud parents to Brandon, Blake, and Jessica.
Yolanda Thomas
Yolanda is a member of Harvest Point since 2014. She is happily married to Gregory Thomas and they have a son named Parker Ray. Yolanda completed her BBA in Accounting from Texas State University and her MBA from the University of Houston – Victoria. She loves to assist creatives in managing the business side of the music industry. Yolanda accepted Christ when she was only 10 years old and has served on different usher boards, youth and college ministries throughout her spiritual journey.
Edgar White
Edgar White attended TSU but left to attend tech school and became a technician in the cable TV industry. He worked for Compaq Computers and Hewlett Packard for over 25 years while earning a degree in Business Management and obtaining a state license for insurance adjusting. He currently works as a facility manager at Bethel’s Place, providing support and guidance to community members in need.
Paula Whitfield
Paula Whitfield and her spouse, Robert, have been part of the Harvest Point community since 2014. They have two kids named Robby and Myles. Paula graduated from Howard University and currently owns a franchise (Fastest Labs of Central Houston) and works as a business consultant. Paula’s passion is entrepreneurship, and she enjoys assisting others in expanding their businesses. Previously, Paula was involved with the Connect team and now serves as the Children’s Guest Services Lead. In her free time, Paula loves traveling with her family and spending time with her companions.
James Williams
James Williams has been a member of Harvest Point since 2018. He and his wife Tiffany have two children, Janae and Joshua. James is a graduate of both Dillard University and St. Thomas University. He has been in the oil and gas industry for 22 years and currently holds the position of Sr. Director at BP Castrol. In his free time, James enjoys traveling and playing golf. Prior to joining Harvest Point, he worshipped and served at New Light Christian Center.
